Ballard City Hall was built in 1899 and later became the second north Seattle Police Precinct following Ballard's annexation in 1907. It was closed in 1946 and later razed in 1964 due to earthquake damage. The pillars still remain at the corner of NW Ballard Avenue and 20th Ave NW.
